MAGA Inc. Sunday Note

Hello-

President Trump has been speaking about America as a nation in decline. He has recognized—at every level—a country that has become engulfed in the flames of liberal radicalism. In an overt attempt to remake America, every lever of power is being used to burn our institutions to the ground leaving only a servant-state to the leftist agenda. President Donald Trump is the embodiment of our fight against this effort. He is truly the only person who is ready and able to stand up and fight back.

This weekend President Trump has predicted his imminent arrest by Manhattan’s District Attorney, Alvin Bragg. The case, which even liberal scholars and the mainstream media have written off as meritless, marks the beginning of a dark and consequential time.

For anyone paying attention, this is what happens in failed nations—this seminal moment in history presents a fork in road for the future of our nation.

One path, defined by apathy and fatigue, will be the abandonment of America’s Constitution, the destruction of the rule of law, and result in the beginning of the end for the Great American Experiment. The other path, led by patriots who stand up and get involved right now, is the only hope we have for saving America and the writing of America’s redemption.

President Donald J. Trump is America’s redemption, he is the lifeline of freedom and prosperity, and only through him will America truly be made Great again.

STATUS

  • President Donald J. Trump has been leading by wide margins in every poll, both against the 2024 GOP primary field and in general election polling, and pundits have begun recognizing that his return to the White House is not just likely, but inevitable.
  • Just like clockwork—from Russia, Russia, Russia to the fraudulent impeachments—Democrats are weaponizing the power of government against President Trump.
  • The case lacks merit, has been referred to as the “Zombie case,” and as the Washington Post pointed out, that legal experts are “scratching their heads,” noting that “prosecutors have repeatedly examined the long-established details but decided not to pursue charges against him.”

KEY

  • If DA Alvin Bragg brings this case, it will not only serve to coalesce President Trump’s support, but it will become the single largest in-kind contribution to a federal campaign in political history.

We are in uncharted times and I am reminded of the words of Robert Frost who said, “the only way out is through.” We will not cede the American story to radicals who want to destroy everything that makes our nation great—and we will take note of those who stand with us and those who remain silent in apathy and complacency. We will pursue redemption and revival in this moment of chaos and uncertainty. Together, we will fight for President Trump and ensure America is made great again.

Thank You,

Republicans stand united with President Trump and recognize that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is attempting to abuse his power:

  • Key Republicans like House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, Senator J.D. Vance, Senator Josh Hawley, and many others are speaking out in defense of President Trump.
  • Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said, "If the Manhattan DA indicts President Trump, he will ultimately win even bigger than he is already going to win.   And those Republicans that stand by and cheer for his persecution or do nothing to stop it will be exposed to the people and will be remembered, scorned, and punished by the base."
  • Senator Eric Schmitt said, "The reported upcoming arrest of President Trump by hyper partisan Soros prosecutor Alvin Bragg is some Third World Banana Republic lunacy and a very, very dangerous road to go down."
  • Even never-Trumper Jonah Goldberg acknowledged Sunday that if President Trump’s “name were John Smith, Alvin Bragg would not be bringing this case.”

Conservatives are paying attention to who is staying silent right now:

  • Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis both spoke out about the Mar-a-Lago raid on the day it happened. Both remain silent about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's reported plans to abuse his power. What are they waiting for?
  • "Pay attention to which Republicans spoke out against this corrupt BS immediately and who sat on their hands and waited to see which way the wind was blowing," Donald Trump Jr. said Sunday.
  • Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna wrote Saturday, "Pay attention to who is being silent on what is currently happening to Trump."
  • Congresswoman Lauren Boebert wrote, "We all need to be speaking up against the political persecution of President Trump. This is not the time for silence."

Alvin Bragg has a history of being weak on violent crime:

  • Since he took office, Bragg has downgraded 52% of all felony cases brought before him to misdemeanors. When his office does end up bringing felony charges, they only secure convictions in 51% of cases.
  • In his first memo to his staff upon becoming Manhattan’s new District Attorney, Bragg made it clear that he prioritizes politics over public safety.
    • He instructed prosecutors to seek misdemeanor petty theft charges, as opposed to felony charges, for armed robbers who used firearms or another deadly weapon if “no victims were seriously injured.”
    • Bragg stated that suspected drug dealers can only be charged with felonies if they are accused of committing more “serious” crimes or if they are caught in the act of selling drugs. Otherwise, they would be only charged with misdemeanor possession.
    • In defending this radical, soft-on-crime approach, Bragg stated that “these policy changes not only will, in and of themselves, make us safer; they also will free up prosecutorial resources to focus on violent crime.
  • Bragg gave a six-month “sweetheart plea deal” to Waseem Awawdeh for his role in a violent attack on Joseph Borgen, who was attending a pro-Israel rally in New York in May 2021.
    • According to the New York Post, Awawdeh called the victim a “dirty Jew” during the brutal gang beating, and allegedly told officers that “he would do it again.”
    • Bragg told Jewish Insider that, after considering “the full context of conduct,” he decided that the plea deal was appropriate as “a kind of individualized justice depending upon a person’s role in the charge.”
