Special Counsel Jack Smith has a history of targeting conservatives.

Congressman Jim Jordan deposed Smith in 2014 due to Smith’s role in trying to prosecute conservative nonprofits targeted in the Lois Lerner IRS scandal. 

"You know how political this is when they selected Jack Smith as the special counsel...We deposed him on May 29, 2014 because he was looking to prosecute people targeted by Obama's IRS," Rep. Jordan said in an interview. 

Jack Smith’s wife donated $2,000 to support Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and has also donated to support socialist Rashida Tlaib. She also produced a glowing documentary about Michelle Obama for Netflix.
